Recently I've been doing quite a bit of web development, and after accumulating a bunch of new skills, I realized how awful my old design was, so the other day I re-wrote the entire site from scratch.
I'm really happy with the outcome. It's very clean and sleek, and the source is much cleaner and better optimized :)
If you wanna see what else I've done, check the "Smashery" in the "Stuff" page above! :)
Damn. 2015 is here. I seriously can't understand where the time is going, it's going by WAY too fast. I hope you all had a great time for Christmas and New Year :)
So, on to this years demo!
This years demo is a bit special, in fact, I'm calling it "Out of Time" and it's an EP consisting of 3 tracks. Due to being busy with school and meh motivation, these tracks are pretty much everything I've produced this year, except for some tracks for some games in school. The highlight is definitely track 2, "Galaxius" which to me is the best I've ever made. I decided for the funsies to send it off to some digital stores as well, but of course I will provide them for free as well.
Also, I feel like I need to mention that I do not set the prices, nor am I expecting to earn anything out of it. I just thought It'd be funny, and handy in case anyone using any of the above services wanted to listen.
Enjoy, and if you do take a listen, I'd love to hear what you think, feel free to drop me a line!
Happy new year :)
Yeah I'm gonna do the same as everyone does - blame school. The last months have been pretty hectic with finals and shit.
Summer is, well, pretty much here, and tomorrow is the last day of school, which means I'll FINALLY get to dedicate my time to streaming. All my plans for the summer are training and streaming. I've been streaming quite a bit of Resident Evil Remake the last week, and I've been enjoying it a lot. I'm planning on finishing it up, then doing RE2 and 3, Code Veronica X and Outbreak. I really wanna do Zero as well, but I'm gonna wait for the PC release.
I've been playing Skullgirls with some friends, and when playing it, I've realized how much I want a fight / arcade stick. I went to check how much one costs, and man, they are not cheap. My dear friend Javaguru, told me I could build my own using an Arduino. I doubted him, but nevertheless, I picked up an Arduino to experiment, and surprisingly, I think it's very much doable. I'm waiting for some parts to arrive, including the actual stick and 4 buttons to start with. I should definitely be able to do it. Also, using the UnoJoy library will make it compatible with the PlayStation 3 as well, which is a very nice bonus. I'll keep updating about my arcade stick project.
Here's one of my first gamepad projects that I tried with the Arduino. The 4 buttons on the left make up the D Pad, and the buttons on the right are X and Square on a PS3 controller, and it works. The Arduino is truly amazing, and I'm looking forward to doing a lot of projects with it.
Have a great summer, and I hope to see you around!
As yet another year comes to an end, another one of my demos is being released.
I present to you, Shadowfied Demo 2014. As always, this album contains all major tracks I've made throughout the year.
I hope you all had a great Christmas and have a happy new year! :)
Time sure flies. It feels like it's only been weeks since I initially made this site, but no, it's been almost a year.
I hope you're all well. Personally, I'm sitting at home with a cold and slight fever while writing this. I really hope I'm well again for the weekend. School wears on you, so weekends need to be utilized to the fullest. :)
Anyway, I've made some additions to the site, as well as some behind the scenes improvements and optimizations, once again. Check out the new "Stuff" section at the links above!
I have been pretty silent in my news section here, however, I've been quite active on YouTube, Twitch and SoundCloud. I'm going to try to be more active on my site from now on.In fact, I have a new page being added soon, hopefully.
