Here’s a list of my top 5 anticipated games shown off at E3 2018 (regardless of whether they were previously announced or not)!
#1 – Call of Cthulhu: The Official Video Game
I’m probably the only one who’ll put this at the top of their list.
I love the Call of Cthulhu story. While I haven’t read close to as much HP Lovecraft as I should, I always love things based on it. My standards aren’t too high either, seeing as I loved Dark Corners of the Earth while most people regard it as really mediocre. As long as I get to explore some well defined, dark and creepy Lovecraftian inspired environments, I’ll basically be happy.
#2 – Resident Evil 2 REmake
Hoo boy. I’ve been waiting for this.
I love the older Resident Evil games, and the remake of the first game was an absolute treat, and I’ve always dreamed of the sequels getting the same treatment. I just really hope they actually stay true to the original game, like, at least I felt, the first REmake did, and don’t turn it into fucking Operation Raccoon City..
The gameplay demo looked good, assuming that was an easy version made for gaming “journalists”..
#3 – Kingdom Hearts 3
I absolutely loved the first Kingdom Hearts game.
I actually didn’t play it until early 2016. I still have the second game to play, and now after seeing the third game, I’m really hype to get back to the series.
#4 – Metro Exodus
I love Metro 2033 and Last Light and I’m really excited to see a new game in the series.
My only worry from the trailer and art, is that it seems to be taking place more outside which is really weird. I mean, Metro is in the name, c’mon. Regardless, my expectations are still high and I’m really looking forward to getting my hands on Exodus in 2019!
#5 – Death Stranding
This game. I don’t know what to say about it. No one does.
You’ve all heard of it, I don’t need to say anything, but if you haven’t watched all the trailers yet, then DO!
So many questions!
